His business acumen extended far beyond real estate. As an advisor to Korea’s first president, he sought innovative ways to generate national revenue. Noticing wild horses roaming freely, he envisioned Korea’s first horse racing track in Ttukseom, creating a new source of economic growth. His pioneering spirit led to many firsts in Korea, from establishing the country's first indoor supermarket to launching successful ventures in fisheries and introducing the nation’s first home and car air fresheners—each innovation transforming industries and setting new standards.
This forward-thinking mindset carried on to the next generation. Olivia’s father expanded the family’s business beyond Korea, recognizing the rising global demand for seafood. He led the company’s international expansion, launching large-scale tuna imports from Las Palmas, Spain, and supplying Korea and Japan—two of the world's largest consumers of tuna.
